+ Why can't children under 7 years of age participate?

Beginner skiers and snowboarders under 7 typically require additional hands-on support and individualized attention that we are not able to provide within the group format of this specific program. We do offer dedicated group programs for children under 7 that include assistant instructors assigned to each group or private lessons, that provide on-one-one support.

+ What skill level should I have?

FIRST TIMERS: No Experience required.

SECOND TIMERS: Participants should be comfortable stopping and making basic directional changes, but not yet confident linking turns or using the chairlift independently.

+ What if I have skied/snowboarded before but I don't feel confident and still consider myself a total beginner?

The first timer experience is a good choice if you feel that you need a referesher lesson on the beginner slope focused on the very basic fundamentals.

Private lessons or Multi-week group lessons are also good options.

FIRST TIMERS: this experince takes place in the learning areas and/or our beginner slope "Bambi".
