Pinecone Bird Feeder

A great way to attract lots of birds to your backyard, is to make your very own bird feeders!

You will definitely be able to use your binoculars through your window to see lots of new birds that you may not have ever seen before.

The instructions are very simple, and you probably have most of the materials around your house already! All you need is:

Pinecones 

Any kind of nut butter, or honey***

***(These options are alternatives to lard which is a commonly used material in this kind of activity but in a battle versus clothing, lard will always win)

Bird seed

String

A non-sharp knife or Popsicle stick

Note- Make sure to use a clean plastic knife or Popsicle stick each time you coat your pinecone.
